Hi all, just a quick email to let you know we are safely tucked up in Savusavu, arrived here a week ago and after a week of relaxation and festivities are fully rested and recovered ready to embark on new adventures, aiming to leave here by the end of the week for the outer islands to do some exploring and diving. Hope you are all living the dream.

As of 9am this morning 3rd of May
Well here we are, 24 hours at sea, yes it should have been 48 but we had to come back to repair a leak which was well worth it, out first 24 hours has delivered us to 33.01 S, 176.13 E, we have been averaging between 7 and 8 knots with a reef in the main and half furled headsail. After a rough trot with sea sickness Rachelle has come out the other side albeit a little lighter, Eva has settled into the swing of things and all is good in the hood. The weather is looking pretty much the same all the way to Minerva where we will more than likely spend a couple of days as a low crosses above us. Bye for now.

The next adventure
Well guys, just a very quick email, we are on the final countdown for departing tomorrow for Fiji, hopefully via Minerva Reef, the weather window is looking superb and its starting to get cold so well and truly time to head north to warmer temperatures.
I will send through as many updates on our adventures and movements and Eva's Bruce encounters. You may see us on skype in Fiji as the connections are pretty good and very cheap, if you do, call us and we will take you for a tour.
Live the dream, should be back in November.

Wonders Never Cease
Sometimes I even amaze myself, I did the Omaha Classic 10km fun run today, as you all know I am very much not a runner, but something very very strange occurred, not only did I break 40 minutes but I also was the first looser, yes I managed to come second and only by 5 seconds, I am a very happy camper indeed.
It is the first time I have done an event and had Eva at the finish, it is an amazing feeling and Rachelle had trouble containing Eva's excitement, very special and a great weekend. The whole Matakana, Sandspit, Omaha area has so much to see and do and well worth a trip to explore the nooks and cranies, visit a few wineries, have a swim or four and push the boundary and do a run.

It is not as nice a venue but the food and coffee is superb, they also do breakafast / brunch so you can make a morning of it if that works for you, see you there.
